We have a new challenge this week at La-La Land Crafts and it's:
BUTTONS and/or BOWS!
I decided to use Watercan Marci for my cute outdoor scene! I'm into outdoor scenes lately....I think I'm secretly longing for some summer weather...not the 100 degree kind though!! Watercan Marci is definitely one of my favorite LLLC Stamps! :)

I just cut the backs off and glued them on top of the Berry Flourish. :) The gorgeous ribbon and black doily are also from Hobby Lobby.

Now don't forget you can play along with us by uploading your creations to our Customer Gallery.

We also have an awesome Facebook Page where you can share your cards and meet some great people!! It's also the place Irina announces special sales and give-aways! :) And, for those of you who are real social butterflies, we also have a Twitter feed!

Inspiration Monday~~DISTRESSING!

We have a new challenge this week at La-La Land Crafts and it's:

DISTRESSING!

Boy, this one gave me troubles. I just had a hard time figuring out what to do. One of my new favorite stamps is a new release called Sailor Luka so I decided to use him for my card.

Hair: E43, E44, E47
Blue: B00, B04, B05

I also used some newly released dies: Flag Banner & Pagoda. My background paper was in my stash....I think it's from the DCWV Far East 12x12 paper stack. The blue dotted dp is from the Wellington paper pad. I used my scissors to distress the edges of the dps and Walnut Stain Distress Ink to distress the edges of the die cuts.

Ahoy There!

Hi everyone! I've made another creation using the DOCRAFTS Dies this time for 7 Kids College Fund. Awesome, isn't it?!!

On my project today, I used the DoCrafts Nautical Build-A-Scene Die Set. It's pretty amazing!! I love that it has a whale and octopus included....so darn CUTE!!

Here's the frame I altered using the DoCrafts Nautical Die Set. I think it turned out pretty cute! :)

Here's a closeup of the scene in the frame. For the waves I used flipped the die upside down to create a scroll type of wave in the middle. I also inked the paper with Salty Ocean Distress Ink.

Supplies used from the 7 Kids STORE:

Have a great Monday everyone! Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments...I love to read your feedback! :)

7 Kids College Fund Blog Hop~Featuring DOCRAFTS!!

Happy Saturday everyone!! Welcome to another 7 Kids College Fund Blog Hop today. I'm soooooo excited for this blog hop because today we are featuring products from an AWESOME company called DoCrafts. Let me tell you, they have some AH-MAZING products!! They will be introducing (to the U.S) one of my favorite line of stamps called Gorjuss Girls. These stamps are currently on pre-order, but believe me you don't want to miss out on these beauties!!

Here is the order of the hop. If you didn't come here from Karen's Blog, then please head back to the 7 Kids Blog to start from the beginning. I can't wait for you to see all the awesome projects my DT sisters made using the DoCrafts product line, WOOT, WOOT!!

Want to know what the prize is that's up for grabs?? It's this awesome Vintage Hot Air Ballooon Build-A-Scene die set!! AMAZING, right?! You can see all the DoCrafts Dies HERE.

For my card I used a stamp from the Wellington 8x8 Clear Stamp Set.
I LOVE bears and have all my life so this set just called out my name and said ORDER ME, haha!! And it's a fabulous set, especially for "manly" cards....I'm thinking Father's Day or a card for the hubby. :) It has sentiments and a cute little tag stamp included....isn't it AWESOME?!! I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored him with my trusty Copics.

Copics:
Bear: E50, E51, E53, E55, E43, E44, E47, E49
Scarf: R22, R24, R27, R29, R59, B91, B93, B95, B99, N0, N2, C3, C5
Ball: E41, E42, E43

I also bought the cute Wellington 6x6 paper pad and it's gorgeous!! I love all the dps in it!! They are not only perfect for manly cards, but even baby cards (which this one kind of feels like).

Now, since I'm the last person on the hop, head back to the 7 Kid College Fund Blog to leave a comment letting us know you completed the hop! Be sure to complete the hop before Tuesday to be included in the drawing for the awesome Die Set shown above.

Have a great weekend and see you back here soon! I also want to say a HUGE thank you to all my new followers! I'll be having some more candy up soon too! :)

The Greeting Farm Double Take Tuesday~~SKETCH!

I just want to say that my heart and prayers are with those who lost loved ones or had ones who were injured in the horrific scene at the Boston Marathon yesterday. I spent a lot of time hugging my loved ones. Things like this really make you stop and appreciate the little things. I was fortunate to have some family visit us for a short time from Oklahoma and I cherished every single minute.

Today, we have a new challenge for you at The Greeting Farm based on this amazing SKETCH by Suzanne Bier:

For my card today I used the new Limited Edition Alice Bean! She's stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Copic X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: YR20, YR23, YR27
Blue: B00, B01, B02, B05
Apron: N0, N2, Colorless Blender

I used some cute dps from My Mind's Eye Happy Day 6x6 paper pad. The cardstock is from ColorBok (Walmart). The pearls are from Recollections (Michaels), and the ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The awesome sentiment is from The Greeting Farm's Mini Fleurs with Die Clear Stamp.

Here's how to play:

*You just use a TGF stamp (rubber, digi, or clear) as your main image.
*Entries must be loaded via InLinkz (on The Greeting Farm Blog) no later than April 22nd, 2013 at NOON, CST.
You can add a direct link to your entry from your personal blog, SCS gallery, Flickr or TGF galleria. (If the InLinkz tool is missing, please add your URL in the comment section.)

*The fabulous prize: A random participant will be selected to win a digital image of choice from the TGF store.

***But WAIT! Each week, our friends have the opportunity to DOUBLE that prize to either two digis or, you can trade those two digis for a SINGLE rubber stamp of choice, as long as we have 20 or more players each week, so encourage all your friends and family to play along!**

Have a great week and give your loved ones an extra hug!

Inspiration Monday~~Birds or Butterflies!

Happy Monday folks! It's time for another La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday. The theme this week is:

I found a new favorite paper pad!! It's called Doodlebug Design Inc. The clear rhinestones are from The Paper Studio and the white pearls are from Recollections. The gorgeous pink ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

Now don't forget you can play along with us by uploading your creations to our Customer Gallery.

Yumi & Fumi Handmade Challenge: MULITIPLE FOLDS!

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you've been enjoying your weekend so far! I've been trying to fight these Texas allergies! I think I'm going to be a vampire for the next two months....OIY!!

Today starts a brand new challenge over at Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts. The theme for the next two weeks is:

MULTIPLE FOLDS!!

Remember, you can play along with us if you use any image from Yumi and Fumi HandmadeLa-La Land Crafts, The Greeting Farm or Sister Stamps. We also added a new company, Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. However, if you happen to use a Yumi and Fumi Handmade image on your project your name will be thrown in to the drawing one more time. Unsure what qualifies for our challenges? Visit the Challenge info page by clicking the tab at the top of the Yumi and Fumi Handmade Crafts Blog.

You have until Friday, APRIL 26th to link up your project. Be sure to use a direct link to your project and not your blog. Those entries could possibly be deleted.

I used the super cute Yumi with Birdie! One of my fave images from the new release!!

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Eyes: E43, E44
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Shirt: R81, R83, R85
Birdie: BG10, BG15, YR02
Grass: G14, G17, G21, G28

I decided to make a gate-fold card. It's pretty easy and simple. For my card I cut my cardstock 5x12 and scored at 3 inches and 9 inches. So my flaps are 3 inches wide and the middle section of the card is 6 inches across. The super adorable dps are from Doodlebug Design Inc. Flower Box 6x6 Paper Pad. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The large, white pearls are from The Paper Studio also at Hobby Lobby.....my fave place to shop! :)

Here's a side view so you can see how the flaps fold. The panel with "Yumi with Birdie" is just attached on the left side of the center line so that it will still open.

The winner of this challenge will receive the awesome prize on the Y&FHC Blog. We also always pick the top 3. The top 3 will receive a personalized badge and a special 10% off coupon code that can be used in the Y&FH Store.

Follow us on Facebook and Pinterest by clicking on the links on our side bar so you can stay up-to-date on special promotions and give-aways!!
