Little Miss Muffet Stamp~Dudley's Friend Stanley!

Little Miss Muffet Stamps
Happy Friday everyone! Well today's been an interesting day. We got lots of snow in Texas! Bet you're wondering how much is lots? Well for Texas that equals about 2 to 3 inches!! I know compared to other states that is nothing, but here in Texas it's amazing! We usually get sleet and ice....rarely the white, fluffy snow. But today we got the real stuff and most of the kids loved it...probably because they got released from school early, haha! The roads here are slick and treacherous because the state doesn't have the resources available to sand everything. So we are pretty much staying put!! My little guy got excited to make his first ever snow angel, haha!

My card today features this adorable guy called Dudley's Friend Stanley....LOVE him!! I'm using some new paper today from Spectrum Noir....and it's amazing! It's thicker than Xpress It Paper and can hold a lot of ink.

Copics:
Green: G21, G24, G28
Yellow: Y08, YR21, YR23, YR24
Cupcake: E43, E44, E47, BG10, BG53, BG57
Grass: YG93, YG95, YG97, G24, G28, C3, E43
Sky: B000

Yesterday started a new challenge on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog. This time around it's a SKETCH Challenge so I used it for my card. My star dp is from Doodlebug Design Hip Hip Hooray 6x6 Paper Pad. The clouds are from Memory Box Puffy Clouds Die. My ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. I hand wrote the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Be sure to check out the LMMS STORE to get some amazing stamps! There are lots of new goodies in the store!! And, if you want to stay up-to-date on LMMS news and have some fun, come join us on the Little Miss Muffet FB Page.

Have a great weekend!

I'm in love with I AM ROSES!

Happy Thursday everyone! I hope those of you in the U.S. are surviving the cold weather and winter storms. We had ice on Monday and Tuesday in Texas and then yesterday it decided to snow. We RARELY ever get snow!! However, it all melted by the afternoon...that's the crazy part of living in Texas. You can literally have all 4 season of the year in one week, haha!

I'm back today to share my latest card using an image from The Greeting Farm and lots of amazing, gorgeous paper flowers from a company called I AM ROSES! These flowers rock my world....I LOVE them so much!! Believe me, you won't be disappointed if you order them!

We also have an "ANYTHING GOES" challenge on the I Am Roses Challenge Blog HERE. I hope to see you playing along with us!

This cute girl is called Amor Anya and she's from The Greeting Farm. I stamped her on Xpress It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with Copics.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E13
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Tan: E41, E42, E43
Pink: R81, R83, R85, R39
Blue: BG10, BG18, BG53, BG57

My dps are from American Crafts. The heart border die is from Joy Crafts. The "love" sentiment is a diecut from My Favorite Things. I used pink ribbon from Walmart and tied a bow with my Bow Easy tool...makes perfect bows every time! The white doily was in my stash.

Here's the list of the beautiful flowers I used from the I AM ROSES Store:

Now, don't forget to come play along with us on the IAR Challenge Blog!! You have until MARCH 8th, so if you place an order soon in the IAR STORE you could get your flowers before this challenge ends!! I can't wait to see what you make!

7 Kids College Fund Challenge #120: ANYTHING GOES!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today starts a new challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog! The theme for the next 2 weeks is an easy one....

ANYTHING GOES!

This challenge ends on MARCH 10th, 12:00pm MST. Just be sure to use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store to be eligible for the prize!

I can't believe February is almost over. It just seemed to fly by. We've been experiencing ice storms the past couple of days in Texas, and my little boy was out of school Monday and Tuesday. Now we have a snow storm coming in so we'll see if he has school today. I'm kind of hoping it gets canceled one more day! I'm loving the sleeping-in thing, haha!!

I'm still in LOVE mode since it is February. :) So I decided to color up this cute, adorable girl from C.C. Designs called Swiss Pixie Angel Wings. I absolutely LOVE her!! She's stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copics. I also added lots of sparkle to her dress, wings, and hearts using the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker. Then I sprinkles Stampendous Aged Teal and Chunky White Embossing Enamel around the edges of my image.

 Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E13

Hair: E44, E47, E49

Blue: BG10, BG18, BG53, BG57

Pink: R81, R83, R85

Wings: C3, N0, Colorless Blender

Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker

Often when I am struggling with my cardmaking I turn to sketches. So today I'm using Sketch 189 from the Deconstructing Jen Blog. I used some gorgeous dps from Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 Paper Pad and distressed the edges with Range Black Soot Distress Ink. The cute sentiment is from Mama Elephant's Everyday Greetings Clear Stamp Set. I raised the image panel on pop dots for added dimension. The small pink pearls are from Doodlebug Design Cupcake Mini Pearls.
Products from the 7 Kids College Fund STORE:

Remember to be eligible for the gift certificate and the Top 3 on our challenges, you must use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store. This challenge ends on MARCH 10th at 12:00pm MST.

Have a great week!

7 Kids College Fund~Mama Elephant's Arctic Penguins

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had an awesome weekend! We spent the weekend with the hubby's family celebrating my Sister-in-Law and Mother-in-Law's birthdays. It's always great to see family! :)

It's chilly today in Texas so I thought I'd pull out these cute and adorable Arctic Penguins from Mama Elephant. 7 Kids also carries the matching die set to these stamps. They are my fave and require very little coloring! I just used an orange Copic (YR09) for the beaks and feet. :)

I like to create little scenes with my papers, dies and stamps sometimes. Even though I used the Arctic Penguins, I decided to pair them up with Echo Park's Walking On Sunshine 6x6 Paper Pad. It kind of warmed me up. :) The Stitched Circle Die is from By DieZyne. That awesome sentiment is from Mama Elephant's Everyday Greetings Clear Stamp Set.

Supplies from the 7 Kids College Fund Store:
Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink

You can see more amazing inspiration from my fellow DT sisters on the 7 Kids College Fund STORE Blog! And don't forget you still have one more day to enter our current ANYTHING GOES challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog!

TGF Tip Me Tuesday~BRUNETTE HAIR!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm featured on the TGF Blog today sharing my Copic color combo for Tip Me Tuesday. Every other month, we will have “Tip Me Tuesday” – a showcase of some of our favorite color combinations for TGF images! And as if THAT weren’t exciting enough, the fabulous Marie has provided you with your own little color combo cards to print off so you can catalog your fave color combos. To get your FREE Color Cards head over to the TGF BLOG and save them to your computer!

Today I'm showcasing my favorite Copic color combo for BRUNETTE HAIR: E49, E47, and E44! It's the hair color I use all the time on my images. Marie has provided an area so you can title your combo, as well as hearts to color in and list your colors. Here's a little step-by-step coloring of hair so you can see how I put down my layers. I hope it helps you! :)

I start of flicking with my darkest color E49. Then I come in with E47 and layer over the E49, flicking out more. Finally, I come in with E44 and bring the flicking out, but not completely covering the white highlight areas.

These are some cards featuring this hair color combo.

So I'm glad that's over and I can focus on my regular crafting, haha! Do you do anything special for Valentine's Day? I think we are keeping it low key tomorrow. We don't have a babysitter so I think we are probably going to do a family night at home. I definitely don't want to wait at a restaurant for 2+ hours to eat dinner!!
