7 Kids College Fund Challenge #131: Anything Goes with a Twist: Tic-Tac-Toe Board

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today starts a new challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog! The theme for the next 2 weeks is:

ANYTHING GOES with an optional twist of a TIC-TAC-TOE BOARD
(created by our DT Member Colleen)!!
Now, remember for the Tic Tac Toe Board it's 3 across, or 3 up and down, or 3 diagonal....so you could do Flowers, Sentiment, and Embossing, or Flowers, Square, and Rectangles, or Flowers, Buttons, and Lace. It's totally up to you on which Row you decide to use!!

Just remember to qualify for the TOP 3 and Gift Certificate, you must use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store. This challenge will end on AUGUST 11th, 12:00pm MST.

Some of my favorite stamps are the Simply Gorjuss line from DoCrafts. I own a lot of them, haha! This one is called Simply Gorjuss Getaway. She's stamped on X-press It Blending Card and colored with Copics.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E13
Hair: C3, C7, Black
Black: C3, C5, C7
Red: R22, R24, R27, R29, R59
Rocking Horse: N2, C3, C5, R81, R83, R85

My Tic-Tac-Toe combination is Flowers, Square, and Rectangles. I used By DIEzyne Dies Stitched and Pierced Rectangles to cut out the white and black cardstock image. The decorative paper with the flowers is from Penny Black Beau Jardin 6x6 Paper Pad. The sentiment on the squares is from Penny Black Sprinkles and Smiles Clear Stamps.

This new challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog ends AUGUST 11th at 12pm MST! I can't wait to see what you create! Be sure to use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store on your project before linking!! Don't forget, you can see a lot more amazing inspiration from my fellow DT sisters on the 7 Kids College Fund STORE Blog!

Little Darlings Rubber Stamps~SC Girl Power: LITTLE LOVES

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm back to share my latest card for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps using this adorable gal called Saturated Canary Girl Power: Little Loves. I LOVE butterflies so I had to have this fabulous stamp! She is stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copics. I framed my image using the LDRS Dewdrop Circle Die....it's GORGEOUS!!

 Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E13
Lips: R22, R27
Eyes: E44
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Dress: R24, R27, R29, R59
Butterfly: BG13, BG15, Y02

TIP OF THE DAY: I sprinkled Aged Taupe Frantage Embossing powder around my image, and used my Toaster to heat it from underneath to keep the particles from flying around! By using the toaster I can control where the particles go and if there are any on her face I can move them off before I heat it.

I decided to make an easel card and used some dps from Echo Park Fine and Dandy 6x6 Paper Pad. The flowers are from I Am Roses and the pearls were in my stash. The butterfly was cut out using By DIEzyne Dies Dotted Wings and Puffy Things. I also used the same LDRS Dewdrop Circle Die for underneath the sentiment. I just used my cutting knife to cut off the outer edge of the die to form a dotted circle.

Now head over to the LDRS Store to get all your cute stamps and amazing dies! If you want to see more amazing creations from my fellow DT sisters, then head over to the LDRS Blog. And be sure to come have some fun with us on the LDRS Facebook Group!

The Greeting Farm July Release~MAKE A WISH

Today, I'm back with the last new stamp released in the TGF Store on July 15th called MAKE A WISH! This stamp set comes with a coordinating die available HERE. I love cupcakes so you know I had to have this one for my collection! It's also great to put a card together quickly because there is not a lot of coloring involved. :)

I actually used chalk to color in the cupcake liner. The rest of it is CTMH Baby Pink Ink. To kick it up a notch, I added lots of Cotton Candy Stickles to the hearts and liner!

My dps are from Bo Bunny Head Over Heels 6x6 Paper Pad. The gorgeous heart border at the bottom of my card is Memory Box Cherish Border Die. I used the Spellbinders Lacey Circles Nestabilities to cut the black scallop circle around my image. The pearls are from Melissa Frances. The white ribbon is from Walmart.

Now head over to The Greeting Farm Store to snatch up all these adorable stamps and dies!! You're gonna LOVE them!!

Make it Colourful JULY Challenge~Casting Shadows

Hi everyone! Today starts a new challenge on the Make it Colourful Challenge Blog, and for the month of JULY our challenge is: CASTING SHADOWS.

I admit this was definitely another hard one for me. It definitely helps to look up photos online to use for inspiration. I decided to try something different this time and try for a watercolor feel to my Copic coloring. I used the MiC Old Oak Tree Digi.

I need some more practice, but I do like the softness and blend of the colors. I just need to work on the placement of the colors a little more.

To get the watercolor effect, I dabbed my colors on balled up pieces of Kleenex and then added Colorless Blender on top of the colors. Next I dabbed the Kleenex onto the X-press It Blending card. Pretty simple technique and I LOVE the watercolor look.

 Tree: E44, E47, E49
Leaves: YG23, YG67, G46
Grass: YG23, YG67, YG97, G28, G46
Shadow: C5, C7
Sky: Y15, YR68, R02, R08, R29, R35, B05
Colorless Blender

Remember to use a Make it Crafty image and upload your projects to the Make it Crafty Gallery. We’d love to see you share your work of art with us. Also, please share your progress, possible disasters and your triumphs with us in the Facebook group HERE. We'd love to see you joining us so we can Oooooh and Aaaaah over your creations!

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Rosie :)
